Bryan's Mini Bio

My name is Bryan Dwayne Blackburn and this is my second year at Washington State. I am from Spanaway, Washington. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty open guy. I am studying Basic Medical Science in hopes of one day becoming a pediatrician. I love kids, which is why i have been a counselor at different camps including Cougar Quest, here at WSU.

I get over-involved, which is both my best and worst quality. In 3 semesters at WSU, i was president of my residence hall, a member of jazz band, a Resident Advisor, middle blocker on the WSU men's club volleyball team, an officer in my fraternity, an ASWSU executive intern, and I organized a benefit concert that benefited a local family whose son was suffering from muscle tissue cancer. I'm pretty busy, but it's the way I like things.

Outside of school, i'm a brother, a friend, and a son. I put brother first because my siblings mean the world to me. My sister is a junior at WSU so i get to see her very often. She is a nursing major, so we are both wanting to go into the medical field. My brother is a junior in highschool and I love him alot! He lights my world. He was born with Muscular Dystrophy and Autism so I grew up taking care of him, but loved every minute of it. My best friend is Cassandra Whitfield and we came to college together. She throws hammer on the track team and will soon be the number one in the Pac-10. (Hopefully). My parents are divorced so I think of it as having 2 families. My mom still lives in Spanaway, but my dad lives in Spokane.

That's enough about me, i guess. I don't want to write my deepest and darkest secrets on the internet, so hopefully this was enough to let you get to know me a little bit more.
